• I had been trying to decide which monitor to buy for a while now and after doing a bit of research decided to buy the X7 by ANDYCINE as I was looking for a monitor that would work really well in bright sunny conditions; as reading the screen on the back of my Lumix camera in a nightmare in bright sun. I was a little worried when it arrived as it didn’t come with any type of pop out of Velcro on sunshade but as you can see from the video this was no problem. The monitor is so bright it really doesn’t need one.As for the features it contains most of what you would expect from a top end monitor. It has a pass-through HDMI out, it displays Histogram, False Colours, Focus Peaking. The Focus Peaking is such a useful feature as this is quite difficult to view on the back of my Lumix camera but using this monitor means it’s easy to make sure everything is in focus. It comes with a really nice quality hard case, shoe mount, battery plate but be aware there is no battery included. It does include a mini HDMI cable and power cable. It would have been nice to include a battery for this price, but I have a few of these at home already and the monitor is such good quality I have no regrets with my purchase. Hopefully it will last a very long time.
  • Having not really appreciated the value, I decided I needed to buy a monitor after filming a few YouTube videos blindly, and having done a few corporate jobs where the client wants to review the footage on set.Andycine was always going to be the monitor I bought as I was only after something easy to use and small, and this had some great reviews. The a6 is an awesome monitor - the screen is incredibly sharp, the menu is so so easy to use even for somebody like me who has never used a camera monitor before, and it's small enough to carry around. This price range for monitors is becoming more and more competitive and there might even be 1 or 2 monitors that have more features for this price but you cannot fault the quality of this monitor in both the build and the software, which is why this is the monitor I recommend to most people at this point! At this point I'd normally say something I don't like about it but honestly I haven't found anything that really bothers me yet, but I'll be sure to update this review if I do!
  • I mainly use this monitor with my mobile phone to play games and watch videos. Outstanding video quality and clear sound. Very light comparing to its size therefore portable enough. Also touch screen. The instruction manual could be better but gives no real troubles. The monitor support is pretty handy.
  • Picture is great. Menu is somewhat unituitive but eventually you grasp it. Touch screen is sweet too
  • Build quality seems very good, nice brushed aluminium style chassis and overall form factor is very slender (so it fits in a backpack quite nicely. It takes input from a variety of sources really well and the full sized tpye-c is super useful Screen brightness could probably be a bit better but otherwise the crispness and latency look nice - you could watch a movie or do work on this thing with no difficulties and having a matte screen means that reflections are almost non existant.Would have been nice for Samsung Dex or a Nintendo to be able to power the thing independently rather than needing a seperate battery pack - when it's hooked up it works great mind and there aren't many screens on the market with a built in battery so i suspect that's a general technology limitation. In short, if you're looking for a good secondary screen for working OR something to hook up to a switch or equiv and as long as you don't mind needing another power source then this works fine. Also, whilst i'm thinking, touch functionality also works really well on both Dex and Windows 10.
  • The device is light and very portable. It connects right away to my PC and the touchscreen is very responsive. It basically turns into a Surface Pro with a GTX 1080, albeit with a single usb-c tether (which provides power, video/audio and touchscreen option).I have also managed to connect this monitor to the Nintendo Switch (the tablet, not the dock) and power it with a power bank. Not only does the power bank provide enough power to the monitor, but it also charges the Switch. Great portability!I have yet to connect this to an OnePlus 6 (unsuccessfully so far), but I'm very pleased with the other results. The screen is bright enough and the menu offers many display settings.
  • I bought this as screen for my daughter raspberry project , we still working on it.We found this portable screen can use various different ways because monitor built in DUAL Mini HDMI ports and usb -c ports , I can connect on all sores devices . we end up used it everyday on everything . phone cameras .game etc.very easy to use . just plug in no need install extra software or driver.we connect a wireless keyboard and mouse , it even better. so convenience.Highly recommend it.
  • As a professional that shoots films, I've become more and more obsessed with that perfect focus and exposure as well as good composition and framing. I think the A6 Plus has helped me achieve that overall. It has some nice features of focus peaking, as well as false color. It also has good 1920x1080 resolution, supports 4K input that gives you good overall brightness at 500cd/m at 440ppi. I also thought perhaps the touch screen would be a nice improvement. I honestly find the touch screen to be not as helpful as I thought, but it does pretty much function as intended. It supports L series as well as Canon batteries, but I've only used the L Series and found it to be acceptable. the included sunshade is fine and works as expected and you will need it
  • This monitor works like a charm and does everything I hoped it would do.Had to figure out how to place the battery so that it wouldn't pop out. I think it was more user error than anything else.
  • I have a Canon M50, and the one feature I noticed it was missing was some picture assists, like zebra patterns for anything over exposed. I wanted a way to see that easily, as well move the display "above" the lens rather then the flip out to the size (I always feel it looks a bit more natural looking up rather than to the side when in "selfie" mode. This fit the bill perfectly. Great picture, feels sturdy, and does exactly what I need. The only complaint is the battery goes dead a little quicker then I would expect, nothing terrible though. And being a common battery type, it is easy enough to get others. It is nice how it comes with "Everything" you need in one "kit". I would recommend this to others.
  • Love this little monitor. I use it for my pocket 4k. Being that the pocket screen does not tilt this is the perfect companion. I can pinch to zoom and check my focus. It gives the use of the histogram. It's very bright when filming in day light.Great little monitor.
  • It sets up very quick, and it doesn't take long to get good at moving through its menus and settings. This monitor has a histogram and the ability to zoom in to check fine focus. Though all my cameras have the same features, the 7'' size of this monitor makes it easier for me. The monitor also gives a better indication of the quality of the image by rendering true colors and being a little larger in size. I now use this monitors advanced features such as zebra pattern and peaking to allow me to get better images. It with ultra brightness,I shoot in outdoor can show clearly but the battery not enough to use long time, recommend buy more battery to use it......
